What experiences should interested students have? No previous research experience is required, and no specific scientific skills are required. If you are interested, that is enough to apply! Our research uses approaches from neuroscience, biology, biochemistry, computational modeling, and more, so related courses / coursework is useful.

Are you currently looking for students in taking research for credit? Yes (Summer 2025)
Priority deadline for student applicants: 4/22/2025
If a student is interested in your lab, they should: Reach out to me via email, with a quick introduction of themselves and why they are drawn to the ShArE Lab.
What experiences should interested students have? It’s always best if students have taken a prior class with me, but in any case, it’s great if students have interests in marine science, mollusc shells, and climate change. Experience in Excel is good to have, and basic coding in R can be learned “on the job”.
